FAQ

1. What is the benefit to me for using Appraiser’s Office?
Answer: We provide additional income streams to your office, without ever costing you
a dime. We simply split the fee for any work we bring in. We pay you.

2. What will this cost me?
Answer: Nothing. There is no registration, monthly or annual fee.
Our appraisers never cut Appraiser’s Office a check, ever.
You receive checks from Appraiser’s Office.

3. How many AMCs will you sign me up to?
Answer: This varies based upon the appraiser’s geographic location,
but we average over 100 new AMCs for each new appraiser.

4. How many orders can I expect?
Answer: This will vary based upon market conditions.
There will be slow and busy months for each appraisal region.
While we can’t predict how many orders you will receive,
we work to get our appraisers as much work as possible.

5. How long does it take to get paid?
Answer: Each management company has its own payment schedule,
ranging from two to twelve weeks. We will notify you of the expected
payment date along with each order. We prepare statements and
checks for all funds that are received and cleared.

6. How long does it take to get signed up?
Answer: It takes some time to complete our registration form, but that
provides us with enough information to complete your registration with
most AMCs. We may request additional information from time to time,
as new AMCs arise with new requests for details.

7. What about the AMCs I am already registered with?
Answer: Appraiser’s Office will not resubmit your information to any
AMC with which you already have a relationship.

8. How many appraisers can I sign up from my office?
Answer: We will sign up as many appraisers as you request, with never
a fee. We only ask you to complete a registration package for each appraiser.

9. How do I submit completed reports?
Answer: Simply e-mail your report to Appraiser’s Office and we will handle submission.

10. How do I get orders?
Answer: We will e-mail order details, including payment amount and anticipated payment
date, based on the requesting company’s policies, and then call you to let you
know an order has arrived requiring your attention and request you to schedule
an appointment for an interior inspection.

11. Why is my driver’s license and social security number requested?
Answer: These are optional. You never have to submit any information that you prefer
to keep private. There are, however, several AMCs that will not register an
appraiser without a background security check. We will simply not register you
with these companies, unless you submit to their security requirements.

12. Do you accept appraiser trainees?
Answer: We accept licensed, certified, and even appraiser trainees. Many AMCs only
accept certified appraisers, and some require three or five year’s experience.
We review your credentials, and submit you to the appropriate companies.

13. What do you do with the private information you collect?
Answer: Your registration information is shared only with AMCs for the purpose of
obtaining new business. It is never shared, sold or used for any other
purpose.

14. Who sets the fees?
Answer: There are suggested fees already filled in for your convenience. Please enter
your usual fees, and enter zero for any reports you do not complete. These are only
suggested fees, however. Obviously, we try to get the highest amount possible where applicable.

15. How do I set up more than one appraiser?
Answer: After your registration is processed you will be given the opportunity to enroll additional appraisers in your office.
